Description
Sylhouette Perfumes x 7scents “Falj Fel” (Extrait de Parfum) was inspired by Endre Ady’s poem “Héja-nász az avaron.” It is a perfume so passionate that even its own destruction would not be too high a price to pay.
Beneath the summer sky, which is melting into the first cold grayness of autumn, two hawks find each other above the forest already turning to fall. Driven by instinct, they collide in the air, without promise or hesitation, with only the certainty that time is running out.
Falj Fel opens with a Kadarka wine accord and black cherries; its dark radiance is almost intoxicating. Their sweet aroma has already been marred, carrying within it the metallic hint of blood and the warmth that was scorched away too quickly. Slowly, the landscape takes shape beneath them: fallen leaves, acorns, dry sage, and the peculiar, fragile texture of cicada wings. Here, beauty is never untouched. Everything is already transforming into something else.
As Falj Fel deepens, the forest takes on a damp, animalic quality. Oak, vetiver, and tobacco absolute rise from the earth, wrapped in beeswax, bird feathers, and musk. Leather, damp soil, wounded wings, and the last scent of warmth lingering in the body before the cold sets in.
There is a tenderness in Falj Fel, yet it is inseparable from passion. Lovers do not merely embrace one another; they consume one another. Claws become caresses, blood becomes wine, and desire becomes surrender.
Perhaps love has always carried this possibility within it: that you give a part of yourself to someone, knowing that you may never get it back.
Falj Fel asks only one question. If to love means to disappear within you, then devour me before time does.

Up. Up. And onward into Autumn fly
In shrill pursuit and raucous hunting cry
A pair of hawks with summer-weary wings.
Summer has bred new pirates in her care
And fresher pinions flutter down her air
To join the lists of Love which now are wide.
We fled from Summer, now ourselves pursued,
Till somewhere sometime in an autumn wood
We stooped with fluttered wings for very love.
This is our final mating. Now the keen
Talon on feather tears the quick between
And so we fall together with the leaves.
